Free High Tech Training From Fairfield's Innovation Institute

Innovation Institute is offering free classes to train people for job skills needed in upcoming decades.

There are two types of training. The web media and intellectual property classes can train students to earn potentially earn well over $50,000 a year after they also graduate from college.

One advantage in having a career with web media is people often can telecommute and stay near family in Solano County.

A high school training program may also get launched. The problem is the Fairfield-Suisun school district doesn't have the funds to pay someone to enroll the students into the free program that can be held right on the high school campus, or Innovation Institute at 1652 West Texas Street.

Interested students and parents can call 707 428-5000 for details, or just drop by to the offices on the second floor. Go to the receptionist desk and ask for Nadine or Brandi.

People with a good technical aptitude of all ages are also welcome to join the hands on program.

Mass transit is one of over 100 ways city wants to make downtown Fairfield a ghetto? It gets interesting.

The tricky language to camouflage the city’s methods for spending tax dollars to make the rich richer, while forcing many to live in somewhat artificially created ghettos is a very interesting subject. It’s mostly hush hush, but well understood by city planners world wide.

Observe how those who speak up on this subject either are forced to move out of town, or worse suffer a worse ending. With well over $100M involved, it’s a very sensitive issue and big battle ground.

It’s all about yielding to special interests. If only Fairfield could stop yielding too much special interests. Funny, the “Fair” from “Fairfield” in the downtown sign went out. What’s left looks “coincidentally” like “yIELD”.

Constructive Or Destructive Intentions?

Internet bullies usually lack constructive comments. Tearing down victims through hate is a horrible art form practiced by skilled bullies.

When Citing Negatives About A Bully’s Tactics Is Needed:

Good people might need to show the facts on blogs about unethical tormentors. This first step may superficially appear to be destructive. Yet exposure is a tool of choice by those stopping such bad internet behavior. For example, exposing a cruel person’s rhetoric for what it really is may appear destructive to such internet pranksters.

Exposing Cruel People To The Public Can Make Bullies Vulnerable:

But exposure is the way of bringing the cruel person down to reality. Exposing falsehoods allows the public to look at the malicious person’s real agenda. Exposing the bad person is a great way for getting to the truth behind their façade. The cruel person’s “dog pony show” starts falling apart when others see the fake pranksters’ core personality profile.

Bullies Retaliate When Cornered:

The last thing con artists want is having their dog pony tactics exposed the last thing they want to happen. So go ahead and expose those mean people for who they are but be careful not to slander anyone. Make one error, and the con artist may turn a small thing into a mountain of trouble. Fighters from the darkness have made fighting their modus operandi. Nothing else may excite them as much as creating pain in others.

CB Is Short For Cyber Bully:

Cyber Bullies are abbreviated as CB. They can also be called Blog Bullies.

Who Are Cyber Bullies?

CB usually go under a name that creates part of their desired image. CB usually lack the courage to mention their organization name. They usually leave no easy trail that will identify them. Politicians and corporations preying on smaller businesses often hire skilled cyber bullying for their dirty work. Unethical politicos and corporations usually don’t limit their strategies to internet harassment. So beware.

Who Becomes A Bully?

What types of people turn to bullying? Cyber bullying often has its roots before the college years. Such haters often start by being school bullies.

Programs To Stop Bully Tactics:

The stop bullying campaigns and class trainings didn’t usually work for said haters. Since many CB’s are in self-denial, haters may not even fully know what cyber bullying is, let alone admit to their lack of ethics. CB often have inner psychological wounds from their past and are afraid of being hurt themselves. They make up for their fears by bullying others to show how tough they are. CB in turn inflict the pain they received onto others. It’s a vicious cycle that needs to be stopped. Children, teens and adults are victims of bullies both on the internet and outside the internet world.

Severity of Hate:

The degree of severity CB hate tactics ranges from satire, to actions causing others to experience post traumatic stress disorder PTSD. Hate victims even can commit suicide. CB’s often have excellent communication and social skills. Internet harassment can be considered a hate crime, depending on the context and local laws.

Forgive Bullies Who Want To Change Their Ways:

Be nice should by chance a cyber bully seek forgiveness. Give CB’s the chance to remember compassion and working together is the key for happiness. But keep your guard as CB is a form of mental illness that may be difficult to cure. Giving a bully a way out, may make it easier for them to put up the “white flag” peace sign. Consider giving haters a way out.

Rick Vaccaro Beat Chuck Timm From Extra City Council Election Ballots

A Big Surprise. Rick Vaccaro Beat Candidate Chuck Timm From The Extra Ballots Being Counted After Election Day.

The Fairfield old boy network, and other politico's thought Pam Bertani came in first place, with incumbent Chuck Timm coming in second place. But with the extra ballots counted, Rick Vaccaro actually beat Chuck Timm.

Pam Bertani is still well ahead of all other candidates including Brian Travis.

1: Mayor Breaking California Open Government Policy:

Mayor Harry Price refuses to answer pointed questions on his role in Fairfield’s looming bankruptcy worries. Harry cleverly evaded money trail questions for over a decade. While not yet proven this probably continued throughout his many years in political office.

2: Cut Opponent’s Income Sources:

Mayor does little or nothing while his cohorts try to cut off funding to FixFairfield.Org.

3: Mayor Distancing Self As Cause Of City Bankruptcy:

Mayor Does Not Want To Be Implicated In How Tax Funds Went To Projects Indirectly Causing Serious Risk Of Bankruptcy.

4: Political Retaliation For Seeking Answers:

FixFairfield.Org and Fairfield Political Watch Group media have been harassed by parties tied with mayor Harry Price for years. Recent events made operating this Fairfield Watch Dog blog even harder. Hence this watch dog has stopped covering the Fairfield mayor’s actions that may be driving Fairfield straight to bankruptcy.

Interesting Background On Political Punishment

Many parties have claimed Fairfield political harassment. The government has had to pay out huge fines costing tax payer money. Two healthy city council members challenging local government ethics died the same month a few years back. There is a definite pattern of some sort. The Daily Republic and Vacaville’s Reporter has details.

Fairfield Political Watch Groups have found it impossible to get the person in the center of this situation to cooperate. Whether Harry Price can state he is being forced to not cooperate or not, Fairfield must demand answers to at least the following:

Pending Fairfield City Bankruptcy:

• Harry Price is the central figure behind the dark clouds of Fairfield’s bankruptcy or near bankruptcy. Price’s indirect and direct role leading to the fragile state of city finances sits behind extensive cover-ups.

• Harry blaming the state of California’s budget cuts is a convenient way to hide Harry’s role in the risks he poses to Fairfield citizens.

• It’s almost as if Harry is copying much of what happened in Vallejo’s bankruptcy?

• Other cities with smaller tax bases such as Suisun mayor Pete Sanchez have much stronger finances than Fairfield. Solano Mall and many other stores bring Fairfield a much greater share of sales tax revenue.

Hiding Harry Price’s Money Trail:

Harry Price is center of the likely scandals behind diverting city resources to certain political power groups. Detailed explanations are skimmed over with vague facts.

• Why did the city finance director leave the job recently? Was he not cooperative, or was he tired of the games? What really happened? Will city docs ever show details of the closed-door meetings? Answer is: highly unlikely.

Harry Price Ignoring CA State Procedures For Open Government:

It is impossible to obtain needed government documents. Hiding government information, and back room deals makes it difficult to challenge those around Harry Price. Harry Price has refused to establish open dialog on these and many other inquiries.

Fairfield Political Retaliation – Examples:

• There are many other suspicions that cannot be printed for concerns of further retaliation, and lack of open government.

• One Of Many Apparent Political Harassments:

A Fairfield bully appears to have broken journalism confidentiality provisions, then told government officials facts that conflict with written documents. Government then levied company and private monies from checking accounts tied with FixFairfield.Org. Attorneys handling the matter were rebuffed by the government and told the only recourse was the supreme court in Washington, DC.

• Trying to cut off income made by FixFairfield and its affiliates through indirect methods.

Parties Tied With Suspected Political Retaliation Against Fix Fairfield & Fairfield Watch Dog Include:

• Fairfield Mayor Harry Price: who is in the middle of this. The powerful parties he surrounds himself with (and perhaps not listed on his 2009 list of supporters) are very powerful.

• Solano EDC: An NGO that uses tax dollars to help economic development with people in Harry Price’s circle (even if Harry might not have pocketed any of the money).

• Tax funded and now bankrupt: Vallejo Business Incubator (legally robbed coffers for maybe half a million dollars). Actual checks to Vallejo Business Incubator run by a Nigerian gentleman who claimed to have attended Cornell (no evidence provided to us to date) came to under $400,000. Government resources to support Vallejo Business Incubator in its competition against Solano Business Incubator were wasted. Solano Business Incubator even offered to pick up the broken pieces left by Vallejo Business Incubator but was refused probably as another cover up?

Repeated email requests for city government documents have remained unanswered for years. While Harry Price may be using legal means to continue his harassments, it appears highly unethical. The two faced Harry Price is charming to voters and his patrons, but has his "tough guy - nice guy" associates show another face to those questioning his ethics.

Some candidates are busy raising money, but too busy to seriously discuss if they will promise to keep Fairfield city's promise to its voters.

These candidates appear not to have shown interest in verifying the www.WestTexasStreet.com promise to Fairfield voters. We requested their response by last Wed 5PM:

• Brian Travis: we received the best response from Brian.

• Chuck Timm: he expressed interest and spent time discussing the matter. But did not promise to at least "try" to meet the guidelines.

• Pam Bertani: No written or verbal answer. I'm surprised because she has stood up strongly on behalf of Fairfield's central business district. Perhaps as much as Brian Travis. Maybe she did not get our emails.

• Rick Vaccaro: We spoke several times in the past two weeks. Verbally he told me he was too busy at this time. We hope he will reply.

While nobody would dare say they are not interested in keeping the promise to redevelop the few remaining blocks between modern Solano County office building and I-80, reality is nothing has happened. Why didn’t it get redeveloped in the 1980’s or 1990’s? Why did redevelopment pass the 2001 deadline, while other new projects had many grant applications submitted?

Fairfield City Manager Sean Quinn appears forced to curtail the project. He wants it done, but the old boy network “appears” to be having Sean divert focus from completing the gateway over these many years. This Oct 31 (Halloween) Sean may be providing some information on this matter – which sources tell us will not satisfy Fairfield voters.

Did Harry Price forget he promised to redevelop Fairfield’s main corridor into West Texas Street? It’s the first impression people get coming from I-80. While Price is busy directing grant monies to his supporters, he is failing to meet his promise to redevelop West Texas Street in 2001.

What happened to the proposed sign on I-80 to promote downtown? The highway 12 sign targets people who already know about Fairfield. Most I-80 drivers have never been to downtown Fairfield. Things won’t change until Harry keeps his promise and stops pretending to be such a nice guy. Harry is the ultimate political schmoozer.

Harry said there’s no money for West Texas Street. He continues to refuse answering Fix Fairfield’s emails and calls asking if he could at least “try” to get funds for the project that is over a decade old. So far we have only gotten word games from Harry and certain people who work for Harry.

The new train station concept could be great idea. We were told downtown won’t lose focus on downtown. If Harry let’s central Fairfield continue to slide, he will need to divert more funds to police to manage the urban blight he is causing.

If Harry Price’s “price” for fixing West Texas Street is too high, why does he spend so much money on travel, and projects for special interest groups? Take a guess. Savvy politicians know that vibrant small business owners are more likely to question Harry Price and his motives. Statistical chances show it to be safer for politicians to work with old boy network buddies on large redevelopment projects.

CA State Cracking Down On Harry Price? One can’t completely blame governor Jerry Brown for restricting economic redevelopment funds if they are not fairly applied throughout the community. If Fairfield is “fair”, it’s time for Harry Price to keep his promise to redevelop the main gateway www.FairfieldGateway.org into Fairfield – take a look at the old website that Harry might wish to make disappear.

The city is seriously considering a plan to rob West Texas Street property owners the right to make many major improvements by changing zoning laws. This then lets developers buy the property for less value 20 years later, and make bigger profits at the property owner's expense. Is it fair to change the city's promise then in effect rob Fairfield property owners who fell for Harry Price's dog pony tactics?

So far it appears the following chose not to commit to this promise (at least a clear email from them has not been received on this subject):

• Refusing to give full details on the www.FairfieldGateway.com project he promised to redevelop, e.g.: where did the city really put the money allocated for the project? It disappeared before the state went into recession.
• The full connections between Harry and Crew with their financial interests in redevelopment projects other than West Texas Street. WTX did not offer any "special gifts" to his old boy network, so the project got mysteriously canceled.
• Refusals from Harry and Crew to abide by the Fairfield Sunshine Act on open government is exemplified in many examples.

There's enough to write a book on Harry & Crew's tactics coupled with taking holding the voter's babies for his photo opps.

Independent From Fairfield City Mayor Harry Price's Tactics? Was This Year's July 4th Parade In Fairfield A Farce? Why Did Fairfield Mayor Harry Price Restrict Seating To Non Independent Speakers?

It's alleged that the vocal Fairfield citizens who want to get things done were not allowed to sit inside the roofed seating at the Fairfield July 4, 2011 parade. Most of the seats might have been empty at some time or the other. You found them down below.

It came down to the politics of who could sit in shade and who had to sit down below in the full sun. Those who kept their mouth shut enough, but were not in the invite list were warmly invited by Harry Price to sit in the "reserved" area.

The exception might be Fairfield City Councilman John Mraz and his lovely wife. It's alleged that mayor Harry Price dislikes John Mraz because Mraz is one of the few who speaks the truth of what is happening in Fairfield. But John Mraz is on the city council and couldn't be booted.

Fairfield city staff unfortunately had to enforce the rules, though they appear not happy with the games mayor Harry Price puts them through. They can't risk losing their Fairfield jobs in this recession and time of lay offs.

Nobody would suspect this from Harry Price? Price's suave social skills are so believable that nearly all voters who meet him think he's a wonderful and honest guy. But ask John Mraz what he sees is really happening (sorry this anonymous blogger can't post this here as they can't anger Fairfield City Hall more than we have already). Allegations on this Fix Fairfield blog or links are never warranted.

While Fairfield gangs get the freedom to wear all sorts of tattoos suggesting violence, everyday voters are stuck in the Fairfield False Democracy dilema.

The Association Of Bay Area Governments organized a large Solano County planning meeting May 4, 2011. Association Of Bay Area Governments heard local concerns about the need for more economic development.

Association Of Bay Area Governments organized Solano planners, contractors, developers (fewer in attendance due to the economy) along with private citizens. Association Of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) was told that the main future focus should be more about job creation.

The three hour meeting Fix Fairfield's Steven Kays attended was later divided into smaller innovative brainstorm groups. Fix Fairfield attended Suisun mayor Pete Sanchez's table where we took advantage of Sanchez's wide level of experience in highway traffic design to solve today's Solano gridlock.

Jim Spering, Solano County Supervisor spoke about needing more stable finances, so Solano County can better design and innovate needed services. Fix Fairfield agrees with Jim Spering that Solano County may save money with better long term planning.

With nearly all California funds previously allocated for different projects, there is little wiggle room for Sacramento to redirect allocated funds from matters that now appear less urgent than they were years ago. California state senate and assembly probably cannot bypass past California referendums without yet another referendum.

Interestingly, a number of people in government wanted more job regulations, though studies show further restrictions on employers will further contribute to more Solano job losses.

It's hard to legislate ethics in the workplace, and not have that interpreted by employers as having their hands shackled.

Personally I like most of the women and men in Fairfield's protective services. They take their work seriously. I should know as I almost won the Fairfield City Council elections though the unions supported those who won.

Guess why the Fairfield city council wanted Rick Vaccaro appointed? Matt Garcia and I were friends - he told me I should have won the election as he knocked on few doors. I knocked on more voter doors than any other candidate when I ran. I dare anyone to do a large survey of Fairfield voters to prove this.

Actually when Frank Kardos said he knocked on something like 9,000 doors I was floored. So tempted was I to expose what appeared his falsehood. I kept my mouth shut on this and other negative things i knew about him because I prefer to avoid mud slinging campaigns. Others knew and also chose not to speak up.

Maybe I should have told the Fairfield City Council during the appointment process my close relationship with Matt Garcia. But so soon after the great guy's funeral was simply not something I felt was right for the time.

I'm not taking sides, but simply shedding light on part of what I know is really going on in our Fairfield, capital of Solano County. Politics requires tough decisions, and Fairfield city employees need all the support they can get. Please Support Our Fairfield City Employees. They Have Families To Support Too.

Luckily California has only two nuclear power plants. California nuclear power plants appear to use similar technology to those in many of Japan's nuclear power plants.

We predict chances are very low for new Solano nuclear power plant construction in the reasonable future. Solano is hopefull far from nuclear power plants.

One California nuclear power plant is in Diablo Canyon nuclear power plant high up the hill over the Pacific Ocean near San Luis Obispo. The other is the San Onofre nuclear power plant near Long Beach. Both California nuclear power plants use pressurized water reactors.

Diablo Canyon wishes to extend their nuclear power plant’s operating license, which may expire in about 15 years. Opponents point in part to the discovery of a previously unknown fault about a mile offshore.

Pacific Gas and Electric's nuclear power plant geological studies show Diablo Canyon's nuclear power plant's maximum seismic strength for a California earthquake near the nuclear power plant at maybe 6.1 to 6.5, and other factors shows it will withstand a quake of around 7.5.

Japan's March 2011 earthquake was 8.9.

City Might Fix One Block Of West Texas Street

Fairfield City Council is discussing plan to revamp about one block of West Texas Street from McDonalds (Beck Avenue) to the roadway under I-80. The Feb 15, 2011 Fairfield City Council session on the project went well.

It's great news that the city is moving forward on keeping part of the promise to complete redeveloping West Texas Street. Fairfield voters look forward to the main section of West Texas Street, from Beck to Pennsylvania to also be redeveloped. Ideas to redevelop West Texas Street were discussed for decades (check city records). While plans to start the changes should have happened in 2000, happily things are moving forward.

Discussions on adding again another traffic light to West Texas Street will further hurt traffic getting to downtown Fairfield. Fairfield Planning needs to reduce the obstacles in getting from I-80 to downtown and the Solano County capital building.

The $350,000 discussed for this project will be moving forward for now. But who is responsible for the Fairfield Gateway project?

At the Feb 1, 2011 Fairfield City Council session tonight, the city was asked about their Fairfield Gateway Promise. The city promised to complete the redevelopment of Fairfield’s main gateway. But mayor Harry Price and others politely danced around clear answers.

Tonight FixFairfield.Org sent a letter to the city and "hopes" to get clear answers as required by the Sunshine Act. Clear answers are not expected however.

City Decides To Dump Low Income Housing Into Central Fairfield

Who is going to pay the increased costs from further burdens Fairfield is placing upon central Fairfield? School costs will go up with more low income housing. With the lack of local jobs, will the new residents be paying enough in taxes to at least cover public school costs? More long term low income residences (while needed) are dumped into central Fairfield versus other locations. The city promised to start improving central Fairfield over a decade ago, and things only keep getting worse.

FixFairfield.Org attended the Fairfield City Council session on Jan 4, 2011. Fairfield Motel owners probably didn't attend because they didn't want to get the city angry. There are many more dynamics on the city not keeping its promise.

Fairfield planning (or lack there of for central Fairfield) has many more dynamics. For example, there are good sides to allowing the motel conversions, as fewer Fairfield police calls might be made regarding short term visitors. Yet will the new proposals outweigh the further burdens the city enjoys dumping outside their own neighborhoods?

Fairfield PD remains busy in central Fairfield. Vagrants and Fairfield got the message from Fairfield's City Council.

Solano businesses in central Fairfield (downtown, plus West Texas Street, plus the previously redeveloped Armijo high school area) are happy with increased Fairfield police patrolling Fairfield's business tax base. The number of Fairfield vagrants has dropped tremendously since Fairfield City Council's John Mraz and Chuck Timm turned the Fairfield Police Department around. Thanks to Fairfield Police Department (FFPD), Fairfield shoppers have become more comfortable shopping in our downtown Fairfield.

Any future Fairfield police budget cuts however should not touch central Fairfield, until the city finishes its promise to fix the remaining redevelopment they promised. With increased Fairfield tax revenues from the redeveloped central Fairfield, our FFPD will have more money to continue offering the team stable employment.

Donut Area Surrounding Downtown Fairfield Hurt With New Proposals

Fairfield's is sticking with its plan to worsen central Fairfield. There's a continued Fairfield Planning Department push to place low income Fairfield housing in central Fairfield as long as it is from where Fairfield City Council members live. FixFairfield predicts the ordinance will go through if the majority of those on the Fairfield City Council continue past practices.

The city claims the low income housing proposal came up after the completion the successful North Texas Street-Interstate 80 interchange project. Some suggest funds promised to redevelop central Fairfield over a decade ago were creatively (though not illegally) diverted to help political supporters in and around the North Texas Street ramp. While the North Texas Street ramp looks lovely the donut area surrounding downtown Fairfield was once again ignored.

Though highway 80 has been there for decades, the city claims Fairfield's cheap motels are too far away from highway 80 to qualify for freestanding cheap motel advertising signs visible from the highway. This supposes current signs aren't good enough.

Three Fairfield City Council members often vote the same way. But Catherine Moy and John Mraz on the Fairfield City Council are very unhappy with how the other three Fairfield City Council member majority continue to hurt Fairfield's Donut region. The majority voting block are Rick Vaccaro, Chuck Timm and the mayor who is great talking with voters but has not kept his over one decade old promise to finish fixing central Fairfield's important donut region. Mayor Harry Price did not keep his promise to meet FixFairfield in autumn 2010.

Fairfield and Nirasaki, Japan, celebrate their 40th year sister city relationship in 2011. Fairfield students have been traveling to and from Fairfield, California to Nirasaki, Japan for 23 years. The Nirasaki - Fairfield sister city coordinator Arletta Cortright's daughter is one of many who love Nirasaki, Japan.

Steven Kays, Founder of FixFairfield.Org and Innovation Institute worked in Tokyo. Kays' father worked for USIA (US Information Agency) at the US Embassy in Tokyo.

Fairfield police officers locates the Fairfield pot store. The Fairfield pot shop’s owner, appears to be Michelle Nix from Georgetown, California - north of Placerville.

Fairfield police would not elaborate about where the Fairfield marijuana store's commercial space was located. The illegal pot shop was behind an unmarked Fairfield storefront. Further suspicion came from the fact that there were bars on the Fairfield pot shop doors and windows, plus paper covering the windows, Fairfield cops said.

City Stole Gateway From West Texas St?

Even the unofficial name for the main gateway into the non completed central Fairfield redevelopment project was hijacked. Fairfield Planning appears to have also have copied "Fairfield Gateway" used to describe West Texas Street. Attempts to change the name for West Texas Street to a name less confusing with North Texas Street were turned down. This is despite the fact that GPS often directs people to North Texas Street when they really want the city's Fairfield Gateway to downtown.
The street surrounding Solano Mall took the word "Gateway". The "Gateway" term per the trademark people at Fairfield's Invention Springboard, does not appear to be similar enough to warrant forcing the city to change the name.

This is another political use for hurting central Fairfield, while helping the new businesses surrounding Solano Mall.

Is big Fairfield City Hall picking on small businesses in Fairfield? There is an interesting twisted way Fairfield uses new city street names to help their businesses friends. By helping some business friends, it's hurting others in twisted ways. The methods the city uses can be subtle or not even realized by the common Fairfield voter.

This time the drama was about how Fairfield picks street names to perhaps help their commercial real estate developer buddies. Fairfield's reasonably new Business Center roadway could have received a different street name. Did Fairfield planning forget that the term "Business Center" is too similar to the name used for the professional office building on the main Fairfield gateway into downtown?

Business Center drive is too similar to California Business Center™. It's a political battle over key word terms.

California Business Center™ mentioned the potential confusion many times to Fairfield Planning, but nothing changed. People have agreed the Business Center drive could change its name from "Business Center" to "Fairfield Business Avenue". But this would be too disruptive for Business Center street's tenants. The US trademark office won't act unless a suit is filed.

This is only one of many examples used by Fairfield Planning to confuse or divert business away from California Business Center™. The business center on the main Fairfield gateway into downtown operates Solano Business Incubator designed to help new and growing small businesses. Small businesses are expected to create most of the new jobs coming to Solano County, barring further city interference.

"Business Center" is clearly not in the center of Fairfield that the city promised to further improve. Instead the planning strategy is to divert attention from the central business district to Fairfield's other "Business Center".

If one can't quite remember the name for "California Business Center" but remembers "business center" and knows they are in fairfield, one might google it. As there are many Fairfield townships in the world, they might add "California" to the search. But googling, "Fairfield" and "business center" and "California" will largely direct people to Business Center dr instead. Just another aspect to consider. What came up today was TheRealPlaces.com and many other sites along with CaliforniaBusinessCenter.com, etc.

There are many other examples for how Unfair Fairfield City Hall used "Business Center" to help friends and fight their friend's business competitors. Guess why voters can't vote for who gets onto the Fairfield Planning Commission? Planners are very sophisticated in the art of planning and helping their buddies. Planning is a sophisticated art that has lots of power, and is to explain for most of Fairfield's crime and other problems today.

North Connector will link into Business Center drive. The other confusion factor should be solved by Dec 2010 or the next month or so. Are planners indirectly using the money that was to improve the link from highway I-80 to downtown Fairfield to instead help their buddies on Business Center drive?

Another example of street name swapping is found in this FixFairfield blog titled "City Stole Gateway From West Texas St?" This is another political use for hurting central Fairfield, while helping the new businesses surrounding Solano Mall.

Look more at the pattern of Fairfield City Council pushing its interests against certain parties, than at just the use of street names. Then one will get a wider perspective of where Fairfield city hall's real alliances are.
